September 9, 2019 -- The Cubs are predicted with a 60.97% for a road win against the Padres.

The Cubs have Kyle Hendricks as the probable starting pitcher against Cal Quantrill. The Snoozle model estimates the Cubs pitcher will have an outing for 7.014 innings, allowing 1.804 earned runs, with 2.815 walks. Our model forecasts the Padres pitcher will have an outing for 6.797 innings, allowing 2.152 earned runs, with a 2.809 walks.

The Cubs's Anthony Rizzo and the Padres's Eric Hosmer will slug it out from the plate. Based on the Snoozle MLB model, Anthony Rizzo 1B is predicted to bat for 0.264 with 0.527 RBIs and 0.585 runs scored. Eric Hosmer 1B is forecast to bat for 0.239 with 0.482 RBIs and 0.356 runs scored.

The Cubs are the best value for the money line based on the -147 odds and a forecasted 60.97% win estimate. With a predicted 64.03% likelihood and -115 odds at 8.5 runs, the under line is the best value.
